Big-hearted leadership. Teen-led momentum. That’s the ripple Community Servant Leaders is creating.

In just a few months, this youth-led nonprofit has rallied over 100 teen volunteers to serve their community in creative, hands-on ways—from decorating cookies in senior homes to helping shelter pets get adopted. Their energy is real, their impact is visible, and now, their vision is growing.

With support from a $1,000 Kindness Grant, CSL is launching a Youth Ambassador Program that empowers teens to lead kindness projects in their own schools and neighborhoods. The grant will fund t-shirts, welcome kits, leadership tools, and outreach materials, all designed to help these ambassadors rally their peers and deepen their impact.

What stood out to our jury was the clarity of CSL’s vision and the strength of its foundation. With 250+ hours of service already completed and partnerships with 15 local nonprofits, this organization isn’t starting from scratch. It’s building on real momentum.

One judge put it simply: “There’s a multiplier effect here. This program doesn’t just invite teens to help, it equips them to lead.”

At the TDB Family Foundation, we support projects that Amplify Voices of Youth, create Pathways to Mental Health Resiliency, and help Build Thriving Communities. Community Servant Leaders does all three. It gives young people the tools, trust, and platform to lead with heart and shape the kind of community they want to live in.

We’re proud to support this inspiring initiative—and excited to follow the ripples as they grow.
