What does youth-led kindness look like in one of the most underserved corners of Oklahoma City?

At No Boundaries International (NBI), it looks like teens stepping up with backpacks of hope, ready to lead with compassion, courage, and care.

We’re thrilled to name No Boundaries International as one of our newest Kindness Grant recipients. With support from this $1,000 micro-grant, NBI is launching Kindness Outreach Day, a youth-led initiative that brings practical care and human connection to people experiencing homelessness, poverty, and crisis.

Guided by trained outreach staff, local teens will distribute food, hygiene supplies, fast food gift cards, and handwritten notes. These simple acts serve as powerful reminders that every person is seen, valued, and worthy of hope. Youth will also capture and share their outreach experiences on social media to amplify the message and inspire others to join in.

But this project isn’t just about those receiving support. It’s also about the young leaders offering it. By stepping into service, these teens gain a deeper understanding of their city and their own ability to make a difference.

Kindness Outreach Day stood out to our team for its powerful dual impact. It supports individuals in survival situations with dignity and care, while equipping youth with the tools and confidence to lead with empathy. It’s a reminder that kindness can strengthen both the giver and the receiver.

This initiative reflects all three of our foundation’s pillars: Amplifying Voices of Youth, Building Thriving Communities, and Pathways to Mental Health Resiliency.

We’re proud to support the NBI team and we can’t wait to see the ripple effect of this inspiring work.
